Know the results and the activities we did as part of our volunteering in 2020, which, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to do virtually.

One of our priorities as a company is to contribute to the development of communities in the countries where we operate. For this reason, at Genomma Lab we reaffirm our commitment to the health and wellness of society, including through our corporate volunteer work.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the edition of our volunteering in 2020 we had to do it remotely. Our GEN Contigo campaign promoted help from home, carrying out actions to benefit different vulnerable groups in the different countries in which we operate.

GEN Contigo consisted of a virtual volunteering that allowed us to offer a supportive, responsible and coordinated response in the midst of the changes in the day to day, which entails the health contingency.

Being away is not an impediment to helping

Adapting to a new lifestyle and new work strategies, we did not let the situation we faced diminish our commitment. For this reason, we believe that being at a distance is not an impediment to helping and collaborating with those who need it most.

Therefore, our collaborators were able to donate part of their time and talents responding to specific needs through different distance activities such as Excel classes, English classes, nutritional orientation, sharing recipes, promotion of physical activity at home, among others.

In this way, we were able to count on the following results:

  • More than 370 activities actions.

  • More than 16,000 people benefited.

  • More than 760 hours of volunteering.

  • More than 260 volunteers from 10 countries.

  • With 63 institutions globally allied.

Aid with international impact

In addition to being a distance volunteering, the help offered by our collaborators had international impact in 10 countries, among which are actions such as those carried out by the volunteer work GEN Contigo in Argentina.

Our team from Genomma Lab Argentina prepared food at home to share with foundations in support of adults, children in vulnerable situations, during the contingency period.

For its part, in Chile our collaborators organized to donate 1,500 units of Alcohol Gel XL-3 for the elderly of the Las Rosas Foundation in alliance with the Aquí Somos Todos Program of Canal 13.

We are people of action and we are committed to contributing to society. Our volunteering makes it possible. Remember, every action taken today, no matter how big or small, will contribute to a better tomorrow for all.
