Find out how our Global Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Gender Equality (DII) was integrate.

At Genomma Lab we believe that diversity enriches the work environment and strengthens the structure of organizations, the more different we are, we have more points of view and our capacities grow.

That is why, we launched our call for the formation of our Global Committee on Diversity, Inclusion and Gender Equality in April 2021, with the aim of proposing and leading initiatives to build a more diverse and inclusive environment.

This call was open to all staff in all the countries in which we operate.

Through our Committee, we seek to promote a culture that promotes the wellness and integral development of our team, regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, physical capacity, nationality, age or any other aspect.

Who makes it up?

After the call, 21 participants from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Mexico were registered, who had their first meeting as a committee, on May 13 of this year.

At their first session, they addressed issues such as the committee’s objectives, as well as the determination of action groups and guidelines and discussed the proposal and organization of the first awareness-raising activity for the company’s global team on diversity and labor inclusion.

What are the objectives of this Committee?

As a result of its first session, the committee defined its objectives, which are:

  • Sensitize the team to the importance of diversity and non-discrimination.

  • Propose and lead initiatives for the construction of inclusive spaces and processes.

  • Create spaces for dialogue with diverse perspectives.

  • Generate collaborative activities and strategic alliances.
